I'M BACK!!!!!

After a couple hours...no, more than a couple hours, of being offline, I am back. I had to do a recovery on my computer. After I restarted it, I couldn't connect to the internet. I finally called tech support and after about a half hour, I was reconnected. This kind of stuff frustrates me. I just want it to WORK!

Now I have to get my stuff ready for Thursday. I'm going early to Sterling so I can be back by 2 :30 to watch Dan and Bonni's kids after school...they are going away for V Day.

Soooooo, this is the end of this blog.

Our new arrival

Just arrived! She's a beaut. A smart car. She tells when

your passengers are not buckled. She lets us know how

many miles per gallon we are getting. She gives us the

outdoor temp...and a whole lot of other things.

Rides nice and quiet.

Another use for an Army Basic Training video

One day Landon asked to watch

Phillip's Army Basic Training video.

So we started it for him and left the room.

A few minutes later Grandpa checked

on him and this is what he found.

And he was all ready, too.

He had his camoflage gun and everything.

About a week later he asked to see it again.

This time it was supposed to be "rest time".

I started to tell him it wasn't very restful

then remembered what happened the

first time he watched it.

So I started it for him and left the room.

When I checked him a few minutes later

this is what I found.

Apparently this video can be used as a sedative.

What Next?

We are currently waiting on bids for several different options for adding on to our house. We are considering adding just a bathroom, a bedroom and bathroom, or adding the bedroom, bath, and expanding the kitchen. Also, we are considering adding to the garage. We only need 4-5 more feet to make it a 2 car.

Yesterday we had 36 people here to spend time with Phillip who had a long weekend so came home for a visit. We had a big turkey dinner (Thanksgiving practice) because he won't be able to be home for Thanksgiving.

After that experience, I'm really hoping we can afford the whole large addition!

Not moving

We took our house off the market because the purchase of the other house fell through. It's definitely worth getting an inspection before buying.

We will be getting estimates on adding on to our present house--at least a bathroom, probably more.

House Update

Well, maybe we'll move and maybe we won't. We have not had any lookers yet. That may be a good thing because of some issues with the new house. We have an open house on Sunday. Pray that we will make the right decisions in this situation.

Open House

Well, our open house was Sunday. The house was open and it was Sunday. That's about it. No one came. Maybe because the weather was beautiful and the county fair was open. Whatever the reason, no one came. We'll try again this weekend.
