Another use for an Army Basic Training video
One day Landon asked to watch
Phillip's Army Basic Training video.
So we started it for him and left the room.
A few minutes later Grandpa checked
on him and this is what he found.
And he was all ready, too. He had his camoflage gun and everything.
About a week later he asked to see it again.
This time it was supposed to be "rest time".
I started to tell him it wasn't very restful
then remembered what happened the
first time he watched it.
So I started it for him and left the room.
When I checked him a few minutes later
this is what I found.
Apparently this video can be used as a sedative.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!!!!!
Actually, Basic Training itself had much the same effect at times, but we got yelled at if we fell asleep during the day. If you want Landon to have the real deal, then get a Drill Sergeant hat and wake him up from his nap by screaming in his face....just don't tell him Uncle Phillip said to do it....and delete this before he learns how to read..haha
